Welcome to Soulworks

Hello, my name is Lynn Turner. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, with over 26 years therapy experience. I specialise in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery & Addiction Recovery.

I provide a non-judgemental, safe, confidential, and professional space for you to talk about, and work through, your problems.

I believe the therapeutic relationship needs to be authentic, honest, and safe for healthy change to happen.

How I Work...

Clients come for counselling when they are depressed, in crisis, have experienced trauma, feel confused or stuck in life. Whatever the reason my role is to listen, understand and then help you to explore your options and goals.

Our first meeting will be a 50 minutes ‘assessment’. This time is for us to get to know each other a little, to explore what brings you to counselling and for us to plan a way forward. I endeavour to work at the pace that suits you. I do not believe one size fits all, but that every client is unique, so my approach thoughtfully embraces different methods and strategies as needed.
I believe in empowering clients, helping them to discover their own solutions and potential. I am not the expert on you or your life, but am here to enable you to understand yourself; to find out what is causing your pain and to support you while change happens.

You decide the goal of each session. Counselling and therapy can lead to a deeper understanding of problem areas in your life and a growth in self-awareness, self-esteem and confidence. This transition leads to a healthier and more fulfilling life. Through therapy you have an opportunity to learn how to break unhealthy cycles of behaviour.

I hope by working together you will find the best version of yourself.
